RODEO-X ENDUROCROSS at the Erzbergrodeo 2007 - Erzbergrodeo race promotor Karl Katoch presents a new highlight!
The Rodeo-X Endurocross will be held upon a spectatcular parcours right inside the Erzberg-Arena, in front of the big festival-marquee. The parcours will contain obstacles from all different Offroad-disciplines: Enduro, Trial & Motocross..!
After the official track-presentation on Thursday afternoon, it's race time for all riders on Friday & Saturday. According to the motto "Are you tough enough?", every rider (who is registrated for the Endurocross) can perfectionize his individual time within 4 qualification runs (2 on Friday, 2 on Saturday).
The regulations are very simple:
All riders have to ride the same bike at the Endurocross which they are using for the Erzbergrodeo Prologue!
- Only riders attending the Erzbergrodeo XIII are eligible to race in the Rodeo-X Endurocross!
- Each rider has to complete at least 4 laps in one piece at the Endurocross parcours - the total run-time of these 4 laps is mandatory for the ranking list. If a rider wants to improve his time, he has to complete 4 laps once again, and again...
- If a rider does not finish 4 laps in one piece, he's not in the rankings!
- If a rider shortens the parcours, he is disqualified!
- Transponder-Timing!
- The results will be transplayed on a video screen!
- There will be 2 race classes: Professional and Amateurs
- Professional have to be registered by their Factory Teams!
- The winners of each race-class (Professionals, Amateurs) receive the undisputed respect of the Offroad community and a very special price: a Wild-Card starting place in the first row of Sunday's Red Bull Hare Scramble!
- In the Rodeo-X Superfinals on Saturday evening (8:00 p.m.), the top-ten riders of each class compete against each other. The riders line up in starting rows and have to ride 10 laps on the parcours. The rider who completes the race distance of 10 laps first, is crowned the Rodeo-X Endurocrss Champion 2007!
