The commercialization of these scooters coming from China took off rapidly. In 2011, Eric takes a new turning in his career when he sells Gauffreteau to focus mainly on the activity of IMF imports. For that, he buys an abandoned factory, allowing him to have a surface of
6000m² for storage. The international market evolving quickly, he finds out that the production cost on the Chinese market has increased.
After a precise evaluation of the production cost for a scooter, he notices that the most expensive things are the research in terms of design and most importantly the molds used in the fabrication of the fairings. He therefore imagines a minimalist design without fairings.
The PTIO scooter is born.
