The new Red Bull Erzbergrodeo movie project celebrates its world premiere on November 30th!
Thousands of ambitious Extreme Enduro athletes around the world are wishfully awaiting the official Red Bull Erzbergrodeo rider registration to kick off on December 6th 2021. All of them are sharing the same question: „How do I make it to the finish line of the world’s toughest Enduro race?”
Out of 1500 competitors started, only a handful of athletes usually crosses the finish line of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. After two heats of qualification at the Blakläder Iron Road Prologue only the 500 fastest riders proceed to the legendary main race on Sunday. In 2019, only 16 brave riders reached the finish inside the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Arena at the bottom of the mighty Erzberg, called the “Iron Giant”.
“Is there one professional hint that makes me reach the finish line of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo?” This question, frequently asked by thousands of motorcycle offroad racers around the globe, is the main topic of the new movie project HOW TO FINISH RED BULL ERZBERGRODEO. The man asking this question is BMX-Pro and Red Bull athlete Senad Grosic (AUT), who meets up with Red Bull Erzbergrodeo founder and Mastermind Karl Katoch directly on site at the infamous Erzberg. Together with a group of experienced experts, Katoch takes Senad Grosic on a tour inside the breathtaking challenges of Extreme Enduro. These experts are no other than Graham Jarvis (UK, 5-times winner of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo), Manuel Lettenbichler (GER, 2-times podium finisher Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, FIM Hard Enduro Vice World Champion 2021) and Michael Walkner (AUT, 7th place FIM Hard Enduro World Championship 2021). Video shooting at Erzberg, featuring a lot of fun, sweat and senses of achievements
While shooting at the „Iron Giant” for two days, Senad Grosic had to tackle several challenges. The 42-years old BMX-Pro, who is ranked amongst the world’s top riders in his sports and is looking back on a long and very successful career, was given a brand new KTM 300 EXC TPI Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Edition by Karl Katoch and his experts, sending him through some of the most spectacular track sections of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. Not quite an easy task, even for a top athlete. Senad, who is used to hit the big ramps on his BMX-bike without an engine, took on all challenges as relaxed as possible and gave his very best to survive…
Spectacular scenes are delivered by Graham Jarvis, Mani Lettenbichler and Michael Walkner as they open up their massive repertoire of hints and practical advices on the best material, optimum gear and perfect riding style for their protégé. Red Bull Erzbergrodeo rider registraion kicks off on December 6th 2021
The very first "race" of the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo traditionally starts in front of the computer screens as ambitious Enduro athletes try to get hold of one of the 1500 entry spots available. The online rider registration will kick off on Monday, December 6th 2021, 9:00 a.m. CET at redbullerzbergrodeo.com and appears to be the first hurdle for thousands of dirtbikers – due to the COVID-19 related cancellations of the 2020 and 2021 editions the run for the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo entries is expected to be massive!
